Overview
This 2021 Shelby Super Snake Speedster is one of only 98 examples built to commemorate Carroll Shelby’s 98th birthday, and the very first two-seat roadster conversion of the Mustang ever offered by Shelby American.
The car began life as a Mustang GT before being transformed by Shelby in Las Vegas. It is powered by a Whipple-supercharged 5.0L V8 producing approximately 825 horsepower, with upgraded pulleys and polished housing for improved airflow. This example is fitted with a short-throw manual transmission.
The exterior features a Shelby-designed body kit with a carbon-fiber hood, wide-body fenders, front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and functional aero components that improve cooling and handling. The Speedster conversion adds a distinctive two-seat layout with a removable tonneau cover, creating a striking blend of style and performance.
Only 98 Speedsters were produced, making it rarer than the Porsche 911 Speedster. Each car carries a serialized CSM badge verifying its authenticity and place in Shelby’s history.
