The 599 was designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Jason Castriota and featured Ferrari’s first all-aluminum GT car chassis. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and features xenon headlights, a vented hood and fenders, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, front and rear parking sensors, flying-buttress C-pillars, and quad exhaust outlets. Silver-finished 20″ Challenge alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza S007A tires measuring 245/35 up front and 305/30 at the rear and showing 2018 and 2019 date codes. The suspension features magnetorheological dampers, and stopping power is provided by red Ferrari-branded four-piston brake calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated ceramic-composite rotors at each corner.
The cabin features power-adjustable Recaro sport seats with carbon-fiber backs trimmed in beige diamond-quilted Poltrona Frau leather upholstery along with a matching rear cargo shelf, center console, door panels, and lower dashboard. Additional equipment includes a power-adjustable steering column, drilled metal pedals, embroidered floor mats, dual-zone automatic climate control, carbon-fiber trim, navigation, and a CD stereo with iPod connectivity. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features carbon-fiber accents with integrated LED shift lights in the top portion of the rim, an engine start button, and a manettino to control driving settings. Instrumentation includes a yellow 10k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and a digital display screen. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles.
The 6.0-liter F140 V12 was factory rated at 611 horsepower and 448 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was last performed in 2020, and the battery was replaced in 2022. Power is routed to the rear wheels through an F1 SuperFast electro-hydraulic automatic gearbox, which can be operated via carbon-fiber paddle shifters. A Tubi Style exhaust is fitted. The window sticker shows initial delivery to Ferrari of Central New Jersey and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $394,434. Manufacturer’s literature and a car cover are included in the sale. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, Tennessee, Florida, and Ohio, BC.
