This 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic over two-tone Red Pepper and black Nappa leather upholstery and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle with an electronic limited-slip differential. It is equipped with the optional AMG Exterior Night and Lane Tracking packages as well as an AMG Performance Exhaust System, 19″ and 20″ forged AMG wheels, Distronic Plus, Parktronic, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, COMAND infotainment, a Burmester surround sound system, and heated and ventilated seats with Airscarf neck warmers. Past work carried out in July 2022 consisted of a brake fluid flush, refinishing the wheels, and a “B” service, which included an oil change and replacing the engine and cabin air filters along with the oil drain plug gasket.
This AMG GT has 8000 kms and is now offered by WCDM with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, a first aid kit, two safety vests, a clean Carfax report, and a clean BC Registration. The car is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) with a power-retractable black soft top and was optioned with the AMG Exterior Night package, which added gloss black trim and black chrome exhaust finishers. Additional exterior features include active LED headlights, front and rear Parktronic sensors, a rearview camera, LED taillights, and a deployable rear spoiler. Forged 19″ and 20″ AMG cross-spoke wheels were refinished in 2022 and are wrapped in 275/35 front and 305/30 rear new Nitto tires. The car is equipped with an AMG adaptive sport suspension system with forged double wishbones at each corner. Braking is provided by red-finished calipers mounted over slotted and cross-drilled rotors, and the system is assisted by Mercedes-Benz’s adaptive braking technology. A brake fluid flush was carried out in July 2022.
The heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable seats are equipped with Airscarf neck-level heating and are upholstered in black Nappa leather with Red Pepper inserts. Appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, Parktronic, Keyless-Go, Distronic Plus, and COMAND infotainment with navigation and a Burmester surround sound system. The Lane Tracking package added Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist. A leather-wrapped AMG Performance three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a central LCD screen flanked by a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. The digital odometer indicates 8000 km.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 469 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque and is equipped with an optional AMG Performance active exhaust system. A plaque atop the intake manifold bears the engine builder’s name. The engine air filter, cabin particulate filter, and oil drain plug gasket were replaced, and the oil changed as part of a “B” service in July 2022, at which time the service indicator was reset. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a carbon-fiber driveshaft and a rear-mounted seven-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transaxle with an electronic limited-slip differential. August 2023 WCDM modification include Larger custom-made Outrun Turbo Chargers, Performance Catted downpipes, Titanium Intakes, Performance tuned Transmission, Custom ECV tuning for the upgraded Turbos, 1 step colder spark plugs, H&R Lowering Springs, H&R Wheel Spacer. Current Dyno HP at the rear wheels is 702hp, compared to Dyno of 430 Stock.
