This 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider is finished in Blu Swaters Metallic over blue Connolly leather and is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a gated six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a blue soft top, Tubi Style exhaust manifolds, 18" five-spoke magnesium wheels, a Kenwood stereo, and pop-up headlights. The car spent time in Florida and North Carolina before the last owner acquired it in March 2017, and they have since added approximately 12k of the 28k miles shown. The Carfax report shows that the front and left front of the car sustained "minor damage" in October 2018, and the front bumper cover was reportedly replaced to address the damage. Clear paint protection film was applied to the nose in September 2019. The 18" five-spoke magnesium wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 265/40 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires mounted in June 2021 at 24k miles. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner. The brake fluid was recently changed.
The cabin features sport seats trimmed in blue Connolly leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, a Kenwood stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. Sticky buttons were refinished in 2017, the door sill guards were replaced in 2018, and the dashboard upholstery was refurbished in 2020. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 1 Ok-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows under 28k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. The oil was recently changed, and records indicate that the water pump was rebuilt, the camshaft covers were refinished in red, and the following parts were replaced in June 2019:
