This Classic Roadsters Sebring MX is an Austin-Healey 3000 replica manufactured by Classic Roadsters of Fargo, North Dakota. The car is finished in red over black leather upholstery and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes 17″ Shelby-branded American Racing wheels, four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a Lokar shift kit and handbrake, and a black soft top.
Recent work included reupholstering the seats and replacing the dashboard, steering wheel, column, door and window handles, braking components, and various engine gaskets. The fiberglass body is finished in red and features a black soft top, hood louvers, flared wheel arches, and dual exhaust outlets. Shelby-branded 17″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 225/50 Doral SDL 50A tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes that were installed in July 2016.
The front bucket seats, rear bench, and dash pad have been reupholstered in black leather in October 2016. Additional work at that time included installing a Lokar handbrake as well as replacing the dashboard, steering wheel, steering column, door and window handles, and rear-view mirror. The wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer is inoperative and total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 features a finned air cleaner lid and valve covers along with braided steel hoses. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. Work in July 2016 included installing a Lokar shift kit and replacing a valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, header gaskets, and rear main seal.
