1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible
This 1965 icon is a truly one of a kind example. It has been restored and customized to a high standard. There is a stack of paper work documenting the custom work and ongoing maintenance of the car since arriving in Canada.
This Lincoln is powered by the infamous Continental 430 4V, the legendary 430 cubic-inch MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) V8 engine equipped with a four-barrel ("4V") carburetor. Produced by Ford from 1958 to 1968, this massive big-block engine was primarily used to power heavy luxury vehicles like the classic Lincoln Continentals. This power is driven to the wheels via a cast-iron Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission. This transmission features a removable bellhousing specific to the 430 MEL block. The car sits on 22' custom wheels and has AccuAir E-Level air suspension on all four corners for a fully adjustable ride height. There is multiple receipts for service work and general upkeep throughout the time of being here in Canada as well as the rebuild.
This car started off life being Bright Yellow over a Green interior before switching to the ever classy and timeless combination of Black over Black. The car has been fully retrimmed in Black Leather and sports chrome accents both internally and externally.
